卡西欧亚超新星残留体的硬X射线辐射

摘要

我们报告从RXTE/PCA目标即时(TOO)观测和CGRO/OSSE观测中提取的Cas A SNR硬X射线连续光谱的结果。数据可以在2至150 keV范围内排除Cas A连续光谱的单一热等离子体br bremsstrahlung模型。单一power law模型对数据给出平庸的拟合(约5%),其power law指数为Γ\Gamma = 2.94±2.94\pm0.02。两种组分(br bremsstrahlung + br bremsstrahlung或br bremsstrahlung + power law)的模型给出良好的拟合。power law指数受到较好约束,表明这种连续辐射可能不是来自加速的MeV电子在冲击前端的X射线热等离子体br bremsstrahlung(Asvarov等人,1989),该模型的Γ\Gamma\simeq2.26。鉴于几类SNR通过ASCA检测到硬power law非热X射线连续辐射,我们预计Cas A SNR亦如此,其Γ\Gamma= 2.98±2.98\pm0.09。我们讨论了从Cas A检测到的最硬非热X射线对同步辐射模型的含义。
