超冷中子的引力去极化:与数据的比较

摘要
我们将所谓的超冷中子引力增强去极化的预期效应与在暴露于各种垂直磁场梯度下的自旋进动室中进行的测量结果进行比较。特别地,我们研究了自旋去极化率以及测得的中子拉莫尔进动频率偏移对这些场梯度的依赖性。我们发现极好的定性一致,引力增强去极化解释了数据中几个先前未解释的特征。
