THz 光谱用于在替代单原子混合晶体系统 和 中识别两级系统的广分布，这是玻璃所特有的。在这些最小无序系统中，二维级行为在特定的 浓度处开始。浓度依赖性通过晶格中杂质分布的统计模型成功地得到了描述，这指向了一种集体掺杂隧穿机制。
