摘要
继 Facebook 的 Mark Harman 教授的主旨演讲与正式报告（记录于会议论文集）之后，第八届国际遗传改进研讨会 GI-2020 @ ICSE（作为第42届 ACM/IEEE 软件工程国际会议的一部分，于2020年7月3日星期五举行）展开了广泛讨论。议题包括产业采纳、人为因素、可解释性（explainability、justifyability、exploitability）与 GI 基准。我们也对比了近期各种线上方式（如 SBST 2020）经由互联网 WWW 在无面对面交互下举办虚拟计算机科学会议与研讨会的做法。最后我们推测冠状病毒 Covid-19 大流行将如何影响明年及未来的研究。
