束射角(ζ)是目前伽马射线暴能量需求的主要不确定因素。我们概述了束射暴星光度曲线的预测，并对GRB 970508的R波段光度曲线进行建模，以推导出ζ > 30度。这导致后glow本身的最低能量需求为3.4×10^{49} ergs。
