Galclaim 软件旨在通过计算随机对齐的概率来识别天体物理暂现源与宿主星系之间的关联。它作为一个开源 Python 软件发布。它已被用于识别、确认或排除伽马射线暴（GRB）的宿主星系候选体，并用于验证或否定天体物理观测中的暂现源候选体。此类工具对于表征大型巡天望远镜中已归档的暂现源候选体也非常有用。
