2018 年 7 月,FRIB 理论联盟举办了一项关于 GW170817 及其相关千新星对 r 过程核合成之启示的项目。讨论主题包括解释 GW170817 千新星中的天体物理与核物理不确定性、从这一事件我们能了解 r 过程的何种天体物理场所(或多个场所),以及鉴于新数据最应推进的核实验与理论进展。在此我们汇编了研讨会的部分科学投稿,广泛代表了自 GW170817 事件以来 r 过程研究的进展。
