1吨ArDM液氩暗物质探测器光读出系统的首批结果

摘要

ArDM-1t是下一代WIMP探测器的原型,它通过测量1吨液氩靶中核反冲产生的闪烁光和电离电荷来工作。其目标是达到30 keVr的最小反冲能量以探测反冲核。本文描述了实验概念,并展示了在CERN地面首次于ArDM中测试的光探测系统的结果。使用一组初步且不完整的光电倍增管(PMT),在零电场下测得的光产额在0.3-0.5 phe/keVee之间,具体取决于探测器内的位置,这证实了我们基于较小探测器装置的预期。
