核碰撞中热双轻子角分布的首批结果

摘要
CERN SPS的NA60实验研究了158A GeV In-In碰撞中的双μ子产生。在完整质量区域0.2<M<2.6 GeV内发现的超出已知源的强子对过剩此前被解释为热辐射。我们现在展示相关的角分布的首批结果。使用Collins-Soper参考系,测得结构函数参数 \lambda, \mu 和 \nu 为零,并且发现极角和方位角的投影分布是均匀的。没有任何极化这一现象与将过剩的双μ子解释为来自随机化系统的热辐射相一致。
