偏振Z玻色子介子耦合不对称性的首次测量

摘要
我们报告了基于SLAC线性晶体管收集的12,063个介子Z^0衰变的直接测量Z^0-介子耦合不对称性参数A_e、A_mu和A_tau。Z玻色子是由偏振e^-束与非偏振e^+束在SLAC线性晶体管中产生的。从测量每个夸克种类的左右不对称和前后不对称中提取耦合。结果为A_e=0.152 ± 0.012 {(stat)} ± 0.001 {(syst)}, A_mu=0.102 ± 0.034 ± 0.002，和A_tau=0.195 ± 0.034 ± 0.003。
