利用暗能量巡天中的Ia型超新星得到首批宇宙学结果:分析、系统不确定度与验证

摘要

我们展示了支撑来自暗能量巡天超新星计划(DES-SN)前三年207颗经光谱分类的Ia型超新星(SNe Ia)的宇宙学参数测量的分析,其红移范围为0.017<zz<0.849。我们将DES-SN样本与122颗低红移(zz<0.1) SNe Ia的外部样本结合,得到“DES-SN3YR”的329颗SNe Ia样本。我们的宇宙学分析是盲法的:在将DES-SN3YR距离与来自宇宙微波背景(CMB; Planck Collaboration 2016)的限制结合后,我们对暗能量状态方程参数ww测量的不确定度在68%置信度下为0.042(统计)和0.059(统计+系统)。我们提供了详细的系统不确定度预算,其在测光定标、天体物理偏差修正和仪器偏差修正方面贡献几乎相等。我们也包含了若干新的系统不确定度来源。虽然我们的样本规模小于Pantheon样本的三分之一,但我们对ww的限制仅大了1.4×\times,显示了DES SN Ia光变曲线质量的影响。我们发现DES SNe Ia的传统拉伸和颜色标准化参数与早期SN Ia样本(如Pan-STARRS1和超新星遗留巡天)一致。然而,我们发现哈勃图周围的内禀弥散更小(0.077 mag)。有趣的是,对于DES子集,我们发现作为宿主星系质量函数的哈勃残差步长无证据(0.007 ±\pm 0.018 mag),与先前测量存在2.4σ\sigma张力。我们也提出了使用插入DECam图像中的模拟SNe Ia以及使用大型星表级模拟来检验我们分析流水线偏差的新颖验证方法。
