在库仑规范下的 2 圈阶，贡献于有效作用的单个费曼图存在能量发散。已证明这些发散在适当的图组合中会相互抵消。此前这一结论仅针对横向外场得到证明。计算结果导致了 Christ-Lee 项的推广，该项此前被插入到哈密顿量中。
