摘要
以TbMnO3为代表的磁电多铁性材料同时具有磁性和铁电性长程序。磁性序已基本被理解,而铁电性的本质则仍较为难以捉摸。为解释铁电性而提出的竞争模型分别与电荷转移和离子位移相关。利用磁电耦合,我们使用电场产生单磁畴态,并使用磁场诱导离子位移。在这些条件下,出现了干涉电荷-磁X射线散射,其中编码了位移的振幅和相位。结合理论分析,我们的数据使我们能够在飞米尺度上分辨离子位移,并表明这种位移对零场铁电矩有显著贡献。
