球状星团M4中的快速旋转蓝离散星

摘要
我们利用ESO甚大望远镜上FLAMES光谱仪获得的高分辨率光谱，测定了球状星团M4中20颗蓝离散星（BSSs）的运动学性质和丰度模式。我们发现约40%的测量BSSs是快速旋转体（旋转速度>50 km/s）。这是迄今在球状星团中检测到的快速旋转BSSs的最高比例。此外，与在47 Tucanae中的发现不同，在我们能够测量丰度的11颗BSSs样本中，未发现碳和/或氧耗尽的证据。这可能是由于统计量较低，或M4中不同的BSS形成过程所致。
