V1247 Ori 星盘中的极端不对称性

摘要

我们展示了利用昴星团望远镜/HiCIAO的高分辨率偏振差分成像观测得到的 V1247 Ori 周围过渡盘的首个近红外散射光探测。我们的H波段成像揭示了距中心恒星约0.14"-0.86"(54-330 au)分离处的盘形态。偏振强度(PI)图像显示恒星东南方向有一个显著的弧状结构,而较暗的西北区域未展现出任何明显特征。臂的形状与半径0.28" ± 0.09"(距恒星108 au)的弧一致,尽管不能排除小螺距螺旋臂的可能性。V1247 Ori 在散射偏振光中呈现出异常大的方位角对比度;东南弧的径向峰值比在相同距恒星距离处测量的西北盘亮约三倍。结合先前关于 \lesssim46 au间隙内密度分布不均匀的指示,外盘的显著不对称性暗示了存在未见伴星和/或正在弧中进行的行星形成过程。
