摘要

XMM-Newton卫星上EPIC-pn相机的低背景、良好空间分辨率和极高灵敏度，即使在扫描机动期间的短曝光中，也为探测延展源提供了有用的极限。在本文中，我们试图说明XMM-Newton扫描巡天作为分析星系团和其他空间延展X射线发射源通量限制样本的工具的潜力。
