利用CORE探索宇宙起源:CMB的引力透镜

CMB的透镜效应如今已成为在大范围红移上探测大尺度成团性的成熟手段。通过利用透镜在CMB偏振中的非高斯印记,CORE任务能够生成几乎全天的透镜偏转的洁净图。该图中高信噪比模式的数量将超过当前CMB透镜图40倍,并且该测量在所有线性理论成立的尺度上受样本方差限制。在此,我们总结这一任务产物并讨论其将赋能的科学。例如,结合CORE透镜与CMB两点信息以及同时期的BAO测量,中微子总质量将以17 meV的精度确定,比中微子振荡所允许的最小总质量小三倍。在利用CORE搜寻原初引力波的B模式偏振时,透镜诱导的B模式将压倒仪器噪声,限制对引力波功率谱振幅的约束。通过CORE重建的透镜,可以在内部“去透镜”观测到的偏振,将透镜B模式功率降低60%。结合CORE的透镜与CIB测量可改善至70%,与不去透镜相比(在零假设下)将引力波振幅的误差减小2.5倍。CORE的透镜测量将允许对其将发现的40000个星系团的晕质量进行校准,其约束由基于洁净偏振的估计量主导。CORE凭借其19个频率通道能够从CMB图中精确去除银河系辐射。我们给出初步结果,表明残余银河系前景污染不会成为CORE透镜功率谱测量偏差的显著来源。[删节]
