17O(n_th,alpha)14C 反应截面的实验确定

摘要
在法国Grenoble的高通量反应堆中，我们相对于已知的14N(n_th,p)14C反应截面确定了17O(n_th,alpha)14C反应截面。使用多个高度富集的氧气样本进行17O(n_th,alpha)14C测量，并利用来自大气中的14N_2进行通量校准。这一结果得出了(244±7)mb的17O(n_th,alpha)14C反应截面精确值。
