exoALMA IV:亚毫米continuum射中的次结构、不对称性与淡外缘盘

摘要

exoALMA 大型项目针对 15 个盘系统进行观测,以研究气体动力学,这些观测同时以 0.9 mm(331.6 GHz)提供极高的面brightness灵敏度和高角分辨率的continuum数据。为对观察到的次结构进行稳健表征,我们对 exoALMA 数据的continuum辐射进行了可见性空间分析,刻画了轴对称次结构和通过从观测数据中减去轴对称模型得到的非轴对称残差。我们定义了非对称指数,发现最不对称的盘主要显示内腔,并持续表现出较高的质量 accretion rate 和近红外 excess。这表明外缘盘的dust次结构与内盘性质之间存在关联。数据质量允许我们描述外缘盘中azimuthally平均的continuum辐射,结果显示本样本中较大的盘(包括dust和气体)倾向于逐渐 tapered,而较小的源则表现出较尖锐的外缘。此外,数据质量揭示了各种源中的奇特特征,如阴影、内盘偏移、tentative external substructures 以及可能的dust腔壁。
