NGC 5018年轻恒星群的证据

摘要
使用从高分辨率光谱中测得的Ca II和Hdelta/FeI4045两个吸收线指数，结合进化合成模型，以验证NGC 5018中是否存在年轻恒星群。该群的推导年龄约为~2.8 Gyr，金属丰度大约为太阳值，且在4000 Å附近完全支配该星系的整体光度。
