少层石墨烯在压力诱导下相变为二维金刚石的证据

摘要
我们揭示了在水存在下压缩的少层石墨烯的金刚石化机制,为压力诱导形成二维金刚石提供了有力证据。高压拉曼光谱为5层石墨烯和石墨在4-7 GPa范围内发生相变提供了证据。该压力诱导相部分透明并在硅衬底上压出凹痕。我们的理论与实验联合结果表明了一种自下而上的渐进式金刚石化机制,与diamondene(一种二维铁磁半导体)的形成一致。对石墨烯的高压X射线衍射表明六方金刚石的形成,与重叠构象diamondene的体极限一致。
