不精确分割对字词定位影响的评估

摘要
字词定位是历史文档分析中的一项重要识别任务。在大多数情况下，方法的开发与评估都假设完美的词分割。本文中，我们提出一个实验框架，以量化词分割质量对字词定位方法在相同的无偏条件下所达成性能的影响。该框架包括生成分割上的系统性畸变，并从畸变数据集中检索原始查询。我们将该框架应用于 George Washington 和 Barcelona Marriage Dataset 以及若干成熟和前沿的方法。实验得以对字词定位方法的端到端性能进行估计。
