摘要
我们提议发展一项宽视场、超高精度的测光巡天任务,暂命名为“地球 2.0(ET)”。该任务旨在首次测量地球大小行星的出现率与轨道分布。ET 由七台 30 厘米望远镜组成,将发射至日-地 L2 点。其中六台为凌星望远镜,视场 500 平方度。连续四年朝向包含原 Kepler 视场的方向凝视,该监测将返回数万颗凌星行星,包括环绕类太阳恒星的难以捉摸的地球孪生星。第七台望远镜为一台 30 厘米微引力透镜望远镜,将朝向银心监测 4 平方度区域。结合地基 KMTNet 同步观测,这将测得数百颗长周期与自由漂浮行星的质量。凌星与微引力透镜望远镜 together 将革新我们对大范围轨道距离与自由空间中类地行星的认识。此外,巡天数据也将推动星震学、银河系考古、时域科学及双星中黑洞等领域的研究。
