摘要
利用针对大量高密度物质状态方程(EoSs)的流体动力学模拟,我们系统地确定了等质量与非对称中子星(NS)并合中直接黑洞形成的阈值质量 M_thres。我们设计了迄今为止最直接、通用且精确的方法,以从揭示 M_thres 的并合观测中确定未知的非转动 NS 最大质量。考虑具有强子-夸克相变的混合 EoS,我们识别出了 NS 并合中夸克物质的一种新的可观测特征。此外,我们的发现可直接应用于引力波搜寻、千新星解释以及针对 NS 性质的多信使约束。
