摘要
EOS是一个技术演示器,旨在探索混合事件探测技术的能力,同时利用切伦科夫光与闪烁光。EOS具有四吨 fiducial 质量,设计用于高精度 regime,其尺寸足以利用飞行时间信息进行完整事件重建,具有演示一系列前沿技术的灵活性,以及便于未来潜在在其他地点部署的简洁设计。EOS的结果可为未来用于基础物理与防扩散应用的中微子探测器设计提供参考。
