摘要
精细结构常数alpha=e^2/hc和无量纲强相互作用参数m_q/Lambda_{QCD}变化的相对效应在Th核的基态和第一激发态之间的极窄紫外跃迁（能量为(3.5 +/- 1) eV）中被增强了5-6个数量级。相应的实验有可能将基本常数变化的灵敏度提高7-10个数量级（达到每年10^{-23}）。
