摘要
对依赖大量冗余参数的系统不确定性进行高效处理,是粒子物理实验中持久的难题。当低层级效应难以用简单参数化或重加权描述时,分析常依赖离散模拟集来量化冗余参数对关键分析观测量的影响。对于需要高统计量蒙特卡洛且具大量冗余自由度的分析,尤其当这些自由度参数化连续分布的形状时,此类方法可能在计算上难以承受。本文提出一种以计算高效且全面的方式处理系统不确定性的方法,使用单一模拟集并连续多变地设置多个冗余参数。该方法在 IceCube 中微子望远镜内深度依赖的有效尘埃分布案例中进行了演示。
