喀斯特星系团中的早型星系：钙之谜中的新篇章

摘要
我们对喀斯特星系团中一组早型星系进行CaII三角线和Ca4227 Lick指数的测量，首次推导了它们与速度分散的相应关系。与类似场中椭圆星系的子样本相比，速度分散在约180-270 km/s范围内的喀斯特星系在Ca特征强度上存在显著差异，这表明环境对这些星系的星形成历史具有影响。我们认为，之前提出的解释星系相对较低CaII三角线的主要情景本身无法同时在两种环境中 reconciling两种Ca指数的强度。
