配备微图案气体探测器(MPGD)读出的时间投影室(TPC)被研究作为计划中的国际直线对撞机(ILC)上国际大型探测器(ILD)概念的主径迹探测装置。已构建并运行了一个配备三重气体电子倍增器(GEM)读出的原型 TPC 于电子测试束流中。该 TPC 置于 DESY II 测试束流设施的 1 T 螺线管磁场中,其提供最高达 6 GeV/c 的电子束。确定了读出模块的性能,特别是空间点分辨率,并与早期测试进行比较。给出了新的研究,首次给出了邻近径迹分离及系统测量比能损 dE/dx 能力的结果。辅以一项关于优化读出粒度以通过 dE/dx 改善粒子鉴别的模拟研究。
