活动星系核宿主星系优先位于蓝云和红序列之间的“绿谷”这一观测结果，对我们通过吸积事件理解星系与黑洞的共同演化具有重要意义。我讨论了绿谷中活动星系核宿主星系颜色的解释，特别关注早型星系。
