摘要
我们提出了一种针对随机过程两个实现之间的距离度量，其中每个实现仅包含稀疏且非均匀间隔的测量值，并伴有额外的测量误差。此类数据常见于纵向研究和在线交易数据中。该距离度量使得对非均匀采样的纵向数据进行基于距离的分析（如分类、聚类和多维尺度分析）成为可能。在找到适用于稀疏采样纵向轨迹的合适距离度量后，我们将基于距离的聚类方法应用于 eBay 在线拍卖数据。我们识别出了六种截然不同的竞价模式集群。研究发现，每种竞价模式都与以合理价格获得拍卖物品的特定概率相关联。
