M87 核区在 2008 年观测到的吸积盘演化

摘要
我们通过重新分析 2007 至 2008 年间 8 次 Chandra 观测，报道了 M87 核区年尺度 X 射线变化的发现。X 射线能谱被拟合并分解为吸积盘与耀发成分。这一年的 X 射线变率可由一个简单的团块状吸积模型很好地解释。我们得出结论：当时 M87 的中心超大质量黑洞正在吸积一团约 0.5M 的云。
