一颗具有高轨道倾角的极端海外天体的发现与动力学分析

摘要

我们报告了2015 BP519_{519}的发现与动力学分析,这是一个由暗能量巡天(Dark Energy Survey)在日心距55 AU、绝对星等Hr=4.3处探测到的极端海外天体(Trans-Neptunian Object, TNO)。由1110天观测弧确定的当前轨道具有半长轴aa\approx450 AU、偏心率ee\approx0.92和倾角ii\approx54度。鉴于这些轨道要素,2015 BP519_{519}是迄今发现的最极端TNO,这由约化Kozai作用量量化,该量在轴对称扰动下对固定半长轴aa为守恒量。我们在已知太阳系的背景下讨论该天体的轨道稳定性与演化,发现2015 BP519_{519}展现出丰富的动力学行为,包括半长轴的快速扩散以及偏心率和倾角更受约束的变化。我们还考虑了在第九行星假说(Planet Nine Hypothesis)框架内的长期轨道稳定性与演化行为,发现BP519_{519}增添了这一假想太阳系新成员存在的间接证据,因为它将代表高倾角、受ϖ\varpi Shepherd(牧羊)作用的TNO群体的首个成员。
