等离子体纳米粒子将光耦合进平面波导的直接光学测量

摘要

利用等离子体纳米粒子将光耦合进高折射率材料的薄层已被广泛研究,以应用于光伏器件,如薄膜太阳能电池。在众多研究中,这种耦合是通过测量量子效率或光电流增强等来进行调查的。在此,我们展示了通过等离子体纳米粒子将光耦合进波导的直接光学测量。我们通过照射样品表面来调查耦合进波导内导模的效率,该样品由涂有高折射率平面波导和等离子体纳米粒子的玻璃载玻片组成,同时直接测量从波导边缘发出的光强。这些实验辅以透射率和反射率测量。我们表明,光耦合受到薄膜干涉、纳米粒子的局域表面等离子体共振以及照明方向(前向或后向)的强烈影响。
