摘要
8Be的低激发态被认为具有双α团簇结构，因此具有大的内禀四极形变。先前的计算表明，低激发态之间的伽马跃迁概率存在大的集体增强，导致4+到2+伽马分支比约为10^{-7}，以及α+α入射道的共振辐射截面为134 nb。我们在此报告了通过气体靶反应4He(α,αγ)4He中的γ-α-α符合测量首次实验证据。在4+共振上和共振外测得的截面分别为165 ± 41（统计）±35（系统）nb和39 ± 25（统计）±7（系统）nb。
