$\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=200 GeV 金-金碰撞中的双电子产生

摘要

我们给出了在 sNN\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}} = 200 GeV 的金-金碰撞中,中心快度区域的 e+ee^+e^- 产生测量结果。在 PHENIX 探测器接受度内,研究了在宽质量范围 (mee<m_{ee} < 5 GeV/c2c^2) 和双轻子横动量范围 (pTp_T << 5 GeV/cc) 内的不变产额,涵盖了最小偏差和五个中心度类别。将 \ee 产额与已知源的预期进行了比较。在低质量区域 (mee=0.30m_{ee}=0.30--0.76 GeV/c2c^2),存在一个随中心度增加而增强,并分布在整个测量的双轻子 \pt 范围内的超出。该超出显著小于 PHENIX 实验先前报告的值,当分别使用 {\sc pythia} 或 {\sc mc@nlo} 计算开放重味贡献时,对于最小偏差碰撞,其值为 2.3±0.4(stat)±0.4(syst)±0.2model2.3\pm0.4({\rm stat})\pm0.4({\rm syst})\pm0.2^{\rm model}1.7±0.3(stat)±0.3(syst)±0.2model1.7\pm0.3({\rm stat})\pm0.3({\rm syst})\pm0.2^{\rm model}。模型计算很好地再现了不变质量谱和 pTp_T 分布以及中心度依赖关系,其中超出主要来源于系统接近手征对称性恢复时 ρ\rho 介子共振态的融化。在中间质量区域 (meem_{ee} = 1.2--2.8 GeV/c2c^2),数据暗示除了重味介子半轻子衰变的产额之外,还存在显著的额外贡献。
