金刚石提供了耐辐射传感器，可直接用于主束流中。在此，我们报告了使用多晶 CVD 金刚石条带传感器作为重离子束流的束流监测器，其每束团铅离子数高达 。这些条带允许确定横向束流剖面，精度可达条带间距的一小部分，而时间信息则以几毫米量级的分辨率给出纵向束团长度。
