用于高重复频率 XFEL 实验的浆料靶的研制

摘要

将 X 射线自由电子激光(XFEL)与高功率激光驱动器相结合,可沿不同热力学压缩路径研究相变、状态方程、晶粒生长、强度及转变路径随压力(可达数百 GPa)的变化。未来的高重复频率激光运行将能够以 >1 Hz 的频率积累数据,这带来了若干实验挑战,包括需要快速补充靶。在此,我们展示了一项针对体积分数环氧(50)-晶粒(50)(浆料)靶的联合冲击压缩与 X 射线衍射研究,此类靶可制成挤出带状以用于高重复频率运行。对于冲击加载的 NaCl-浆料样品,我们观察到嵌入的 NaCl 晶粒内的压力、密度和温度状态与冲击压缩单晶 NaCl 的观测结果一致。
