下一次近距离 core-collapse 超新星 (SN) 预计将通过多信使天文学手段提供丰富的科学信息。对冲击破裂 (SBO) 辐射的早期观测尤为关键,有助于理解超新星的爆炸机制以及前体恒星的属性。中子探测器能够在 SBO 辐射到达前提供 SN 的早期警报。Super-Kamiokande (SK) 具备独立重建准确 SN 指向方向的独特能力,这是其实时监控系统 "SNWATCH" 的一部分。近期通过向探测体积中添加 镍 (Gd) 的升级伴随着提高 SN 指向方向重建速度和准确性的努力。一种新的基于 HEALPix 的方法 ("HP-Fitter") 能在不到一秒钟的时间内计算出 SN 的方向。此外,前一种最大似然方向拟合器 ("ML-Fitter") 经过升级,包括采用 Gd 中子捕获事件信息、使用 HP-Fitter 进行初始拟合参数,以及代码重构和优化。改进后的 ML-Fitter 在角分辨率方面表现更好,但方向重建时间为 O\mathcal{O}(秒)。结合 burst 检测和事件重建时间的改进,SNWATCH 现已能够在约 90 秒后生成带有指向信息的 SN 警报。这些升级已在 SK 实验中实现,并集成到新的自动化系统中,用于提供 GCN 通知。
