通过多波段极化确定蓝鸟 X 射线辐射的来源

摘要

黑洞天体射线中的高能辐射来源是一个高度争议的问题。这在特别是来自超大质量黑洞的射线中尤为如此,因为它们是宇宙中最强的粒子加速器之一。迄今为止,新的观测和新的信使的加入仅仅制造了更多的问题而非答案。然而,新近可得的 X 射线极化观测正有望最终区分辐射模型。我们利用广泛的多波段和极化 campaign 以及最先进的极化光谱能量分布模型来攻击这个问题,专注于蓝鸟 BL Lacertae 在flaring 和 quiescent γ 射线状态下的两次 X 射线极化观测。我们发现,无论喷流组成及其底层辐射模型如何,逆碰撞散射来自相对论电子都在 X 射线能级占据主导地位。
