少电子量子点隧穿速率的确定

摘要
我们展示了如何利用速率方程，对任意涉及态数的量子点，求出作为隧穿速率函数的顺序隧穿电流的解析表达式。我们将此方法应用于一到二电子跃迁，其中电子态已知精确。通过将所得表达式与实验数据比较，提取了六个跃迁的隧穿速率。我们发现这些速率强烈依赖于隧穿过程中涉及的电子自旋和轨道态。
