W玻色子质量的测定

摘要
先前对LEP2物理潜力的研究表明,在500反向皮恩的设计亮度下,可以直接测量W玻色子的质量,精度在30-50 MeV范围内。本报告基于最近的模拟工作和改进的理论输入,对W玻色子质量的估计误差进行了更新评估。同时描述了将使用的最有效的实验方法。
