光致蒸发对恒星盘的破坏

摘要
光致蒸发可能为解释恒星周围盘的短寿命提供一种说明。除中性氧线谱线外，T Tauri 星系的观测到的低速禁线发射可以被光致蒸发模型所再现。由于光致蒸发在数个天文单位处在盘中形成缺陷并发生粘性扩散，这为行星迁移的停止机制提供了可能的解释，并解释了在这些半径处观察到行星的丰富性。
