PHENIX实验强子盲探测器的设计、建造、运行与性能

摘要

一种强子盲探测器(HBD)已在RHIC的PHENIX探测器内完成研发、建造并成功运行。HBD是一种使用纯CF4气体运行的切伦科夫探测器。它具有50厘米长的辐射体,在无窗构型下直接耦合至读出元件;该读出元件由三层GEM堆叠构成,顶层GEM上表面蒸镀有CsI光阴极,堆叠底部采用焊盘读出。本文全面介绍了该探测器的建造、运行及束流性能。
