sPHENIX 电磁与强子量能器原型的设计与束流测试结果

摘要

相对论重离子对撞机(RHIC)上的超级开创性高能核相互作用实验(sPHENIX)将对广泛的核碰撞系统进行喷注和重味观测量高精度测量,从而阐明从核子到强耦合夸克-胶子等离子体的强相互作用物质的微观本质。sPHENIX 量能器系统的一个原型于 2016 年春季在费米实验室测试束流设施作为实验 T-1044 进行了测试。电磁量能器(EMCal)原型由嵌入钨粉与环氧树脂混合物中的闪烁纤维构成。强子量能器(HCal)原型由倾斜钢板与塑料闪烁体交替组成。束流测试结果显示,EMCal 中电子的能量分辨率为 2.8% 15.5%/E2.8\%\oplus~15.5\%/\sqrt{E},而 EMCal 与 HCal 组合系统中强子的能量分辨率为 13.5%64.9%/E13.5\%\oplus 64.9\%/\sqrt{E}。这些结果表明所提出的量能器系统性能满足 sPHENIX 指标要求。
