$^{27}$Al 中束缚负μ子的衰变

摘要
我们首次测量了负μ子被束缚在Al原子中后衰变产生的电子在高达70 MeV范围内的能谱。数据是在TRIUMF用TWIST装置采集的。我们测得的μ子寿命为(864.6 ± 1.2) ns,与早期测量结果一致。衰变谱的不对称性与零一致,表明原子俘获已使μ子完全退极化。测得的动量谱在高能区与理论预测合理一致,但谱峰附近的差异表明计算需要包含α辐射修正。本测量是对束缚在任何原子核上的μ子衰变谱最精确的测量。
