暗能量巡天第六年结果:点扩散函数建模

摘要

我们介绍了利用暗能量巡天(DES Y6)完整六年数据进行弱引力透镜剪切测量的点扩散函数(PSF)建模。我们回顾了使用PIFF(全视场PSF)软件包的PSF估计流程,并描述了自DES第三年(Y3)分析以来PIFF和建模诊断的关键改进:(i) 使用外部Gaia和红外测光星表以确保用于模型拟合的恒星样本具有更高纯度;(ii) 增加了颜色依赖的PSF建模,这是任何弱引力透镜分析中的首次;(iii) 包含检查四阶矩的模型诊断,四阶矩对弱引力透镜测量的偏差程度与二阶建模误差相当。通过一套全面的诊断测试,我们展示了Y6模型精度的提高,这体现在系统误差显著小于Y3分析,Y3分析中由于PSF模型精度不足而排除了所有gg波段数据。对于Y6弱引力透镜分析,除了rizriz波段外,我们还包含了gg波段测光数据,为测光红移估计提供了第四个波段。展望下一代广域巡天,我们描述了PIFF的几项持续改进,PIFF将成为Vera C. Rubin天文台时空遗产巡天弱引力透镜分析的默认PSF建模软件。
