天鹅座X-1含一个21倍太阳质量黑洞——对大质量恒星星风的影响

摘要
大质量恒星的演化受到其一生中因星风而损失的质量的影响。这些星风限制了恒星最终产生的恒星遗迹(如黑洞)的质量。我们利用射电天体测量学精化了黑洞X射线双星天鹅座X-1的距离,发现其为千秒差距。结合先前的光学数据,这意味着黑洞质量为倍太阳质量,高于此前的测量值。在高金属丰度系统中形成如此高质量的黑洞,对大质量恒星的星风质量损失构成了约束。
