我们讨论了从库仑规范QCD理解轻、重夸克激发态强子谱的进展。对于轻夸克系统，我们强调了对手征对称性自发破缺的不敏感性，这预言了高度激发态强子谱中的维格纳宇称简并，并允许通过实验探测夸克质量动量依赖性。对于重夸克介子衰变，我们援引了弗兰克-康登原理——这是重夸克速度变化小的结果——以从衰变产物的动量分布中提取定性的、但模型无关的结构信息。
