冷却囚禁离子的集体运动以初始化量子寄存器

摘要

我们报道了两个囚禁的 9Be+ 离子的集体运动模式被制备到基态。这是实现能使离子内禀电子态纠缠的量子逻辑门的关键一步。我们发现相对离子运动模式的加热相比于质心模式被显著抑制,这暗示了这些模式在未来实验中的重要性。
